WILLIAMSPORT — Lycoming College is trying to prevent a bank from garnishing $726,663, most of which is owed subcontractors on a baseball field project.

The college is caught in a legal battle between Woodlands Bank and Pine Ridge Construction Management, a real estate development firm. Both are in Williamsport.
