Odessa couple accused of videotaping sexual assault of 1-year-old

Two Odessa residents are being held in the Ector County jail on multiple felony charges after authorities said an investigation revealed they sexually assaulted a 1-year-old girl and sent video of the assaults to one of their mothers in Russia.

According to Texas Department of Public Safety reports released Monday, Homeland Security received a pornographic media file from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Dec. 27 after the national center received a tip from TikTok.

Special agents determined the email associated with the TikTok account belonged to Cleyret Pacheco-Peraza, 22. Agents using the same email address found Pacheco-Peraza’s Facebook account and identified her and Leiwin Lara-Hernandez, 23, as suspects after seeing Facebook photos of her, Lara-Hernandez and the baby celebrating the baby’s first birthday, the report indicated.

According to the reports, when special agents went to speak with Pacheco-Peraza, she admitted to performing oral sex on the baby about 50 times. She also admitted to recording Lara-Hernandez sexually assaulting the child at her former apartment on Harless Avenue and sending the video to her mother in Russia, the report stated.
