Mizuki opened last week in the former Applebee's at 12110 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock. Co-owner Amy Weng has described it as a new concept that has been successful in big cities: a buffet with all-you-can-eat sushi, sashimi and nigiri and kitchen-prepared hibachi dishes, $28.95 for dinner, $18.95 for lunch. A regular menu will also be available. Hours are 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday. Weng and her husband, Tony, are among a group of partners who also own and operate Samurai, a sushi-hibachi restaurant at Shackleford Crossings on Little Rock's Shackleford Road. Weng also operates Great Khan Mongolian Grill in Benton and has two sushi restaurants in Houston. (501) 246-3335; mizukiar.com.
