Paris Hilton is "proud" of the renewed attention her 2006 song Stars are Blind has received in recent years.

During an interview with NME with her latest collaborator Steve Aoki, the DJ shared that she is "proud" that people are still into the song.

"Stars Are Blind will always be such a huge part of my life," Paris told the publication. "I am proud to see how timeless and iconic it is and how people from every generation are able to love and enjoy it so much. I always say it's the perfect summer song."

Paris added, "It's heartwarming to see everyone around the world still jamming out to it."

Stars are Blind was featured in the 2020 film Promising Young Woman featuring Carey Mulligan and Bo Burnham. Additionally, Paris released a duet of the song with Kim Petras and performed a version with Miley Cyrus and Sia in a 2022 New Year's Eve performance.

The hotel heiress is currently working on a follow-up album to her 2006 debut, Paris, and she recently released the track Lighter, which she produced with Steve.

"Music has always been such a huge part of my life," The Simple Life star told the outlet. "I love DJing all around the world and at the biggest music festivals and having my concerts, but singing is something that I just love to do and I'm so proud to be in the studio."
