Vince Regan is a Partner at Mullen Coughlin. Mr. Regan’s practice is focused exclusively on cybersecurity and data privacy issues. He counsels clients on responding to data security events and the compliance issues surrounding these events. He assists in determining the nature and scope of the data security event, as well as the legal obligations that follow as a result of the event under applicable state, federal and international law. Mr. Regan works with his clients to comply with these obligations and respond to any resulting regulatory inquiry.
Mr. Regan is a highly experienced attorney. Prior to joining Mullen Coughlin, Mr. Regan was a prosecutor for fifteen years in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where he served in the Economic and Cyber Crime Unit, Major Trials Unit, Repeat Offender Unit, and ultimately, as Bureau Chief for five years. Mr. Regan has tried over seventy jury trials and hundreds of bench trials in high profile matters involving violent crime, sexual assault and economic and cybercrime. In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Regan has lectured on numerous topics including the use of data-driven prosecution models.
