About Me
A board certified dermatologist, Dr. Noelani González received her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University where she received high honors. She obtained her M.D. degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where she is originally from, and was also top of her class. She received training in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Morningside, formerly known as St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City, and went on to complete her Dermatology Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital where she served as Chief Resident of Dermatology during her final year. She then completed an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) Cosmetic Fellowship at Skin Laser & Surgery Specialists of New York and New Jersey under the guidance of Dr. David Goldberg, where she participated in various FDA trials and clinical research studies. She has authored book chapters and numerous articles in the fields of melanoma, cosmetic dermatology, and surgical dermatology amongst others.
Dr. González is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery (ASLMS), Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). Her clinical interests include medical dermatology, laser medicine, and cosmetic dermatology.
