DTE gas rates will climb as temperatures drop in Michigan this fall

As temperatures drop with the leaves this fall in Michigan, natural gas rates for DTE Energy customers will climb for the first time in three years.

Michigan regulators OK’d a nearly $114-million rate hike for the utility’s 1.3 million customers on Thursday afternoon, Nov. 7.
