Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed Anthony Joshua has seven different options for his next fight if Tyson Fury has actually retired.

On Monday, Fury shocked the boxing world after announcing his retirement from the sport of boxing. The 'Gypsy King' decided to hang up his gloves after losing his rematch to Oleksandr Usyk last month in Riyadh. "Hi everybody, I'm going to make this short and sweet," Fury said. "I'd like to announce my retirement from boxing, it has been a blast, I've loved every single minute of it and I'm going to end with this; Dick Turpin wore a mask."

The Brit's announcement ruins any plans of a blockbuster all-British showdown with Joshua. However, in an interview with The Sun, the latter's promoter has insisted that 'AJ' has plenty of options regarding his next fight in the ring. Those options include Martin Bakole, Dillian Whyte, Deontay Wilder, Zhilei Zhang, Agit Kabayel, Daniel Dubois, and Joseph Parker.

Joshua was brutally knocked out in his last fight against Dubois in September. Since then, 'Triple D' has been open to a rematch with 'AJ' and it looked likely that the pair will go toe-to-toe for a second time in February. However, Hearn revealed his client wasn't ready yet after picking up some minor injuries in the first meeting.

Instead, Dubois will now take on Parker in Riyadh on February 22 in what promises to be a blockbuster showdown. The winner of the heavyweight dust-up could set up a sequel with Joshua. Should the New Zealander emerge victorious against 'Triple D', he'll be eager to level the series against 'AJ' following their clash in 2018.

Bakole recently issued a scathing warning to Joshua and has now emerged as a potential opponent for the Brit. The pair have sparred before and the 31-year-old has established himself as a top heavyweight contender after knocking out Jared Anderson in his last fight. “Anthony Joshua, I called you out. I wanted to knock you out," he said. "Now you’re talking s**** to say Ajagba is going to beat me. "Shame on you. How many times did I call you out? How many times did I ask you to fight in Africa? You should be ashamed of yourself. I want to fight you. I want to knock you out. Look at Daniel Dubois, I broke his nose twice. He knocked you out cold. If you fight me, I’ll knock you out in the first round.

“You’re talking about Ajagba. Ajagba is a baby. Wait till you see how I knock him out. I invite you to be there. You’re talking s***. I want to fight you. Stop talking nonsense. Now you’re saying you’re Nigerian. You’re not British anymore? I’ll knock you out. I’m an African giant. I’m an African warrior. After knocking out Ajagba, I will knock you out as well.”

A rematch with Whyte could be on the card, with boxing purists believing it'd be the perfect tune-up fight before taking on the top stars in the division. A bout with Wilder would be intriguing seeing that their feud dates back years. 'The Bronze Bomber' is targeting a return to the ring and one huge win could boost his chances of yet another big fight. Both Zhang and Kabayel are due to meet next month for the WBC interim title - with the belt guaranteeing them a crack at Usyk's title or the right to be elevated should the Ukrainian vacate the gold strap. While a fight with either men may not appeal to 'AJ,' the chance to fight for a belt certainly would.
