Microsoft has confirmed the latest batch of Xbox Game Pass titles with five day one titles arriving this week.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers are getting five day one titles this week with Capcom's Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and Dungeons of Hinterberg both headlining this month's offering. Unfortunately though, this is one of the smallest Xbox Game Pass lineups in recent memory, with just three new games being announced on top of the previously announced Xbox Game Pass July 2024 games.

While its a pretty light back half of the month, it's worth noting that there are a few rumoured titles set to hit before July is over; the first of which is the likely addition of MW3 to Xbox Game Pass later this month. However, it isn't coming alone from the sounds of things. There was speculation on Twitter that Helldivers 2 or a Final Fantasy title could be on the cards for Game Pass based on comments from the Double-Barrel Gaming podcast which said the final title would be a PC and PlayStation-exclusive game that released this year.

However, Xbox leaker Extas1s say that it won't be either of those (translated by @ZakkenKloot on Twitter), and instead it'll be 2023 indie sensation Dave the Diver arriving on Xbox consoles this month via an Xbox Game Pass launch. So someone has got it pretty wrong – or maybe it's none of those titles, and everyone is way off.

Also available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers this month is a 10-hour free trial of the upcoming EA Sports College Football 25 which is set to launch later this week on Friday, July 19. While the full game won't be available on Xbox Game Pass when it launches you can kick start your time with it right now.

The following is the list of games confirmed by Microsoft for the Xbox Game Pass July 2024 lineup via a post on the Xbox Wire blog, and titles that are day one releases are listed in bold :

  • Magical Delicacy (console, PC, cloud) – available now

  • Flock (console, PC, cloud) – available now

  • EA Sports College Football 25 Early Access Trial – available now (via EA Play)

  • Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (Xbox Series X|S, PC, cloud) – July 18

  • Dungeons of Hinterberg (Xbox Series X|S, PC, cloud) – July 18

  • Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (console, PC, cloud) – July 19

Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in July 2024

As always, unfortunately, Microsoft is also removing some games from Xbox Game Pass this month. These are the titles leaving the subscription on Wednesday, July 31:

  • A Short Hike (console, PC, cloud)
  • Train Sim World 4 (console, PC, cloud)
  • Venba (console, PC, cloud)

Microsoft offers a deal to subscribers, allowing them to pick up games at a discount of up to 20% if they want to purchase any of them to keep before they leave Xbox Game Pass. So if you're interested, be sure to take advantage of that before the window closes.
