Masked Singer's Davina McCall shows off new hair in glam photos after brain tumour op
The Masked Singer judge Davina McCall showed off her stunning transformation after stylist partner Michael Douglas gave her a makeover for the show
As Davina McCall continues her recovery from brain surgery, she has shared a selection of stunning snaps on social media.
The TV presenter, 57, took to Instagram to show her epic transformation ahed of another edition of The Masked Singer. Partner Michael Douglas uploaded a joint post for the pair calling the episode a "mad one". "It might be cold outside but we are in holiday mode!", he exclaimed.
The celebrity stylist went on to explain how he gave his partner her fancy look as she stepped out in an amazing Baywatch inspired ensemble for filming. The video showed Michael clipping extensions to Davina's hair while a makeup artist got to work on the star's face.
The end product was amazing as Davina stunned in the iconic red outfit made famous by the beachside drama series.
Davina had shocked fans in November after revealing her shock diagnosis. The star admitted she went in for a health scan and thought she was "ace it". She said at the time: "I was offered a health scan which I thought i was going to ace but it turned out i had benign brain tumour," before revealing it was "very rare".
Speaking on the Making the Cut podcast she hosts with boyfriend Michael Douglas in November prior to her surgery, Davina said she spoke to a neurosurgeon who "showed me my brain". She described the moment as being "the weirdest thing ever". She went on: "He pointed it out to me that it [the tumour] is right in the middle of my brain."
Despite appearing on the latest series of The Masked Singer, Davina's partner Michael, 49, revealed last month she was planning to ease back into work by mid-January. Earlier this month, an insider spilled to Heat magazine that TV star has now decided to take a step back to reassess her once relentless schedule. Currently, Davina is mixing different television work and brand deals, as well as her commitment to staying fit.
The source claimed: "Now she's had time to reflect, and she's realised what she wants is a simpler life and to spend quality time with the people she loves as well as more rest and downtime."
Davina, who is mum to Holly, 23, Tilly, 21, and Chester, 18, from her previous marriage, has apparently decided "health comes first". It is thought she has now decided that she was "put on the planet for a reason".
