Jacqueline Jossa joked that she 'ruined Christmas' after she had an accident at home days before the holiday.

The EastEnders star, who is married to Dan Osborne and has Ella and Mia with him, has been preparing for Christmas with her family but struggled when it came to the festive tree. She attempted to move the tree across the living room but accidentally knocked the whole thing over.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, she shared a snap of the toppled-over tree in the corner of the room and added the caption: "Tried to move the Xmas tree and ruined Xmas," along with laughing emojis. However, the problem was quickly fixed and she later returned to her page to reveal she had been watching Harry Potter.

It comes after Jacqueline opened up about being 'shocked' with her health kick. The I'm A Celebrity star decided to look after her physical health for the sake of her mental wellbeing. In September, she revealed she didn't even recognise herself and was amazed she was able to stick to the routine.

She told OK! Magazine: "It was more for my head, for my mental health, to be honest. And I'm just loving it. I didn't think I'd be able to stick to it, because I'm generally one of those that goes for a week and then stops, but I'm truly loving it. I don't know who I am. I shock myself sometimes!"

During the same month, Jacqueline revealed she believes her family were saved by a guardian angel on the night their holiday villa in Marbella was raided by armed men. The actress was left shaken when brazen thieves in balaclavas made off with around £20,000 worth of possessions after ransacking a villa she and her family were staying in. As well as her engagement ring from former The Only Way Is Essex star Dan Osborne, cash, designer clothes and electrical goods were also nabbed in the lavish home raid.

They were enjoying a family getaway in Marbella with their two daughters Ella, nine, and Mia, five, and Dan's son Teddy, eight when the terrifying incident happened. Jacqueline said she was woken by something dropping on the villa floor before noticing torches shining in a bedroom.

She told The Sun: "I truly believe in guardian angels. Something kept me from going out straight away. Had I done I could have been blocking his way. He would have had to move around me, push me downstairs or use a weapon. We saw it on CCTV. There was something very long and sharp in his hand."
