BENEFITS
Innovative tools for accessible learning
Help students improve reading comprehension, stay engaged, and build confidence while supporting individuals with learning differences and multilingual learners. Bolster inclusive teaching practices with text decoding capabilities and individual word or whole-text translation in more than 100 languages.
Improve communication between students, parents, administrators, and teachers who are linguistically diverse or who need adaptive vision or hearing supports with the Translator app. Translate learning activities and presentations in real time and bridge languages with the multidevice conversation feature.
Provide a range of ways to write and improve writing skills with speech-to-text capabilities. Dictation enables all students, including those with limited mobility, to use a computer microphone to dictate documents and presentations. Students can refine and review dictated text with advanced spelling and grammar checks and word suggestions.
Share information in a more accessible way with real-time live captions and subtitles that display your speech as text while you speak. Live captions are available in Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint and are compliant with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

“Translator [enables] ESL students to keep up.… When they are hung up on a word or a phrase or want to learn how to say something in English, they can transition back to their native language and use Translator to quickly contextualize in English.”
Hope Smalley-Jackson, Business Teacher, Texas City Independent School District
“It's easy for students to have an Immersive Reader button built in and available in every program or on every website—that is huge for my students and for me teaching students with different abilities.”
Amber Gonzalez, Teacher-Librarian / Technology Integration Specialist, Sawyer Woods Elementary School, Kent School District
“The most enthusiasm we’ve seen across the district is for Translate in PowerPoint Live. It meets teachers where they are on their technology adoption journey and automatically adds subtitles to presentations for non-native English speakers.”
Christopher Holt, Supervisor – Technology Training, Hillsborough County Public Schools
“[Immersive Reader] is excellent for all students. Our littlest learners need those accessibility tools, too, not because they have a learning difference but because they don’t know how to read or write yet.”
Amanda Young, Program Manager, Imagine Academy, Wichita Public Schools
