BARANGAY Ginebra and newly acquired forward Troy Rosario make their much-awaited debut against streaking NLEX in the main game of the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.<\/p>\r\r
The 6-foot-6 Rosario recently signed a multi-year deal as he opted to join the Gin Kings via free agency, just over a month after his contract with the Blackwater Bossing expired.<\/p>\r\r
Coach Tim Cone admitted in previous interview with The Manila Times that the many-time Gilas big man was one player he had watched from a distance, \"whom he liked to coach\" if given a chance.<\/p>\r\r
\"Now the reality is true,\" said Cone, whose team faces NLEX (3-1) at 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\r\r
Justin Brownlee will be at the forefront of Ginebra anew, with the resident import motivated more than ever to redeem himself and the Gin Kings, after falling short of their championship bid in the Governors' Cup.<\/p>\r\r
Ginebra reached the Finals in the opening conference, but bowed to Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and TNT, 4-2, in the series.<\/p>\r\r
NLEX has been on a roll, winning its last three outings since opening the conference with a 114-87 shellacking at the hands of NorthPort.<\/p>\r\r
But that seems to ages ago, especially with reigning PBA Scoring champion Robert Bolick averaging 35.5 points in the last two games.<\/p>\r\r
Bolick dropped 39 on Sunday as he led NLEX's magnificent comeback from a 16-point deficit to frustrate defending champion San Miguel Beer, 104-99.<\/p>\r\r
Meanwhile, Magnolia (1-2) tries to get back on the winning track when it goes up against winless TNT (0-2) at 5 p.m.<\/p>\r\r
The Hotshots are still smarting from back-to-back losses to Converge, 93-91, and a 107-103 loss against surprise conference leader NorthPort Batang Pier last week.<\/p>\r\r
Combo guard Paul Lee missed the game versus the Batang Pier due to rib contusion.<\/p>\r\r
He is listed as day-to-day.<\/p>\r\r
The Tropang Giga are also trying to avoid dropping a 0-3 hole since opening the conference with a 105-84 demolition at the hands of Eastern, followed by a 100-95 loss to NorthPort.<\/p>\r\r
Poy Erram served his one-game suspension in the game against NorthPort for the second flagrant foul he committed against Eastern's Glenn Yang in the first quarter their game.<\/p>\r\r
Erram's absence was deemed \"inexcusable\" by coach Chot Reyes, since TNT didn't have veteran big man Kelly Williams, who is still in the US, while Jayson Castro is under load management by TNT after coming off a physically draining title run in the Governors' Cup.<\/p>\r\r
