VAN WERT COUNTY — The Ohio Department of Transportation proposed resurfacing state Route 697 from its intersection with state Route 116 to the western edge of the city of Delphos and on state Routes 697 and 117 from the Mercer County line to the Allen County line.
ODOT said it is expecting construction, anticipated to take place in the summer and fall of 2026, to force temporary closures and detours, but access for local traffic will be maintained throughout construction.
