Local authorities said a helicopter with Iranian Sports Minister Hamid Sajjadi crashed in the city of Baft, in the southern Province of Kerman, Iran.

Officials said that the crash occurred on Thursday when an adviser to the Iranian sports minister was killed, and 12 others were injured.

After the incident, the minister was immediately delivered to the local hospital along with the rest of the passengers and pilots on board, according to the report.

The incident happened while the helicopter landed near a sports complex in the city of Baft, Kerman province, in the southern part of the country.

Meanwhile, a video has been viral on social media showing the aftermath of the crash.
