Tammie Smith joined KFF in 2023 as a communications officer. She previously worked at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, LMI on health policy, The Pew Charitable Trusts, and the National Council of Nonprofits. Tammie holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and journalism from Emory University and a master’s in public management from the University of Maryland’s School of Public Policy.
