On 7 February 2023 the ‘Hali Caravan’ came to Milano as a part of the Hali Colloquium in Italy. The first event at 11 am included a visit at Museo Poldi Pezzoli and a lecture by Michael Franses about Central Persian carpets with focus on Qazvin carpets.
The ‘Tiger Carpet’ in Museo Poldi’s possession was the main attraction for the visit at the museum. Several Central Persian fragments were also on display.
