Chris Jullien away

The worst kept secret in the football world is finally out - Chris Jullien is leaving Celtic.

The news was confirmed earlier today by Fabrizio ‘Corky’ Romano, the man who worked us all into a frenzy with his Juranovic schmozz the other week.

It’s really not a surprise, considering Jullien largely found himself frozen out of the first team since returning from his injury, although it has to be said there’s been nothing malicious about it and it’s a testament to the performances of CCV and Starfelt.

His career could go the way of ex-celt Dedryck Boyata, who has enjoyed a relatively decent time of it in Germany with Hertha Berlin, who most recently was seen helping his team thwart the awful Hamburg’s promotion hopes yet again.

Jullien goes with our best wishes, and here’s some of his memorable goals while he was in a Celtic jersey.

The Lazio goal was a particular highlight.

That same season, he scored an offside winner against Rangers which a lot of people in Scottish football took very well.

His finish against Hamilton was also a huge moment in the 19/20 season.

And finally, he rounded off the scoring in a 3-0 win v Motherwell in a match that is largely forgotten in the terrible ‘covid season’ but fair play to him for this tidy finish!

Good luck Chris and thanks for the memories!
