What’s the Florida-Georgia series history?

According to the Florida record book, the Bulldogs lead the series 55-44-2. Georgia’s record book claims 56-44-2, listing a victory from 1904 over the Florida Agricultural College that was based in Lake City and later morphed by state charter into the University of Florida in Gainesville. 

What happened the last time Florida played Georgia?

The Bulldogs won 43-20 last year for the third victory in a row over the Gators and sixth in the last seven meetings. Quarterback Carson Beck, a Mandarin graduate, completed 19 of 28 passes for 315 yards and two touchdowns.

What’s the key Florida-Georgia matchup? 

Florida RB Jadan Baugh vs. Georgia LB Jalon Walker 

Both players had their best games of the 2024 season in their last outings. Baugh, a true freshman, scored five touchdowns and ran for 106 yards against Kentucky, his first college start and Walker had seven tackles, three sacks, seven quarterback pressures and a fumble recovery against Texas. 

Baugh tied the program record for most rushing touchdowns in one game with Tim Tebow and Trey Burton and scored the most for a Gator player in his first start.
