While 5G was recently introduced, China has already been working on 6G technology which has now been sent into orbit for a test.
The telecom company in China that worked on the 6G technology is still a few years away from it being compatible with mobile devices.
The new 6G uses high-frequency terahertz waves that providers high-speed data transmission that is many times faster than the current 5G technology.
