How long does a Hyvä build or migration take?

For the last few months, a frequently asked question we get at in-person events is: “How long does it take to build a Hyvä store?” This comes from merchants and new agencies who have heard about us and the value we bring but aren’t familiar with our technology yet.

As with any project, it depends on how much resource you put in, as well as the extent of the features needed and requirements.

The short answer is that most agencies tell us that for their first Hyvä project, they take no more time than they would for a Luma project, but from the second project on, they can cut development time by up to 50%.

A more detailed answer comes from sharing actual timings from real-life projects so you can have a sense of the complexity of the requirements and type of resource gathered.

Hyvä accelerator packages

To meet the needs of SMBs or online businesses at an early maturity stage, many Magento agencies have come up with bundles or prebuilt stacks of technologies that make it simple for merchants to go online with a good-looking and fast-performing eCommerce site.
