An Honest Review Of Rove Concept's Wishbone Dresser

When it comes to enhancing the look of your bedroom, choosing the right furniture can make all the difference. Of course, for me, it's also important to consider functionality. As a lover of shopping and clothes, I believe there's no piece of bedroom furniture more important than a dresser. Aside from the bed itself — which can be disguised under various bedding — it's typically the focal point of any bedroom, so I wanted it to be aesthetically pleasing, design-forward, and (most importantly) spacious enough to fit all my clothes.

When Rove Concepts reached out about possibly trying out the Wishbone Dresser in my home, I knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Below, I outline the features, design, and pros vs. cons of the Rove Concepts Wishbone Dresser, and why I think it's a perfect addition to any bedroom.

What design style is the Rove Concept Wishbone Dresser?

The Wishbone Dresser from Rove Concepts is a true embodiment of minimalist, contemporary design, with just a touch of boho style from the cane details. It's made with a light wood that is almost white-grey, but, even though it's on the cooler side, it still exudes a ton of warmth. My bedroom decor is primarily tan, white, orange, and yellow, with pops of gold, and the dresser's hue helps pull it all together beautifully. I love the cane detailing, which hugs the sides of the dresser and adds visual intrigue to a very classic piece. Overall, it's very timeless!

How well does the Wishbone Dresser function?

Of course, the Wishbone Dresser doesn't just focus on aesthetics — it's a highly functional piece of furniture, as well. With six spacious drawers, there is ample storage for all of my clothing, plus a nice, big surface level on top to house decorative items, such as jewelry and decor. Each drawer effortlessly glides open, thanks to the high-quality metal runners, and soft-closes, which makes the process feel even more seamless.

I've only had it for a few months at this point — and it's still in perfect condition — so it's hard to say exactly how durable the dresser is, however, the quality seems so pristine that I can't imagine it diminishing any time soon.

What are the dimensions and specs of the Rove Concepts Wishbone Dresser?

The dresser is 62 inches in width, 19 inches in depth, and 30.4 inches in height. It's built with a white oak veneer and curved natural cane web detailing, and also features soft-close engineered drawers with finger pull handles. The maximum weight limit is 176.4 pounds.

How was assembly and delivery?

I was lucky enough to receive the dresser fully assembled right in the box. I'm not sure if that's how the dresser always comes, to be completely transparent, but I was grateful that assembly did not fall on me at all. The delivery, on the other hand, required a little more work. To start, Rove texts or calls you to help schedule a delivery date, but the only available day (at least that I was offered) was Tuesdays. I happen to go into the office every Tuesday, which ended up delaying my delivery by a few weeks. It took me and the coordinator a few emails back and forth to finally select a delivery date, so in total the delivery was delayed about a month. Not a huge deal, but it did take a little longer to coordinate than I was expecting.

On the actual delivery date, I had standard delivery, which means that the dresser could be dropped off in front of my building, but not delivered to my door or inside my apartment. That's pretty standard of course, but since I live on the second floor of my apartment building, I know I'd have to make additional arrangements.

I ended up just booking some movers on Lugg to come and help me carry it up the stairs and into my space, which worked out wonderfully, but it was an additional fee on top of the dresser's price. (Granted, quite a bit cheaper than the White Glove Delivery service Rove offers.)

How much does the Wishbone Dresser Cost?

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the price of the Wishbone Dresser, since it definitely not what I'd call a budget buy. In fact, at $2,427 it's quite the investment. But, the quality, craftsmanship, and timelessness alone seem to be well worth the price. I can tell that this is a piece of furniture that I'll have for a very long time to come.

Overall thoughts

The Rove Concepts Wishbone Dresser is undeniably a stunning piece of furniture that combines aesthetic elegance and functionality seamlessly. With its contemporary design, spacious storage, durability, and easy assembly, it's a top-notch choice for those seeking to elevate their bedroom decor and organization. Though it comes at a higher price point, I know that it's a timeless investment and can be transitioned into different rooms in my home for many years to come.
