If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.

If you receive care from a provider in a freestanding emergency room that is not affiliated to a hospital, TRICARE will not make reimbursement for care rendered because it does not recognize the facility as a certified provider.

TRICARE requires freestanding emergency facilities to be affiliated to a hospital to be eligible for reimbursement.

What kind of care are you looking for?

Network providers

Network providers will file claims for you. When using a network provider, you are responsible for copays and cost shares. Most Prime plans require a referral or prior authorization for care not provided by a PCM.

Telemedicine providers

Search and refine results to providers offering telemedicine services. Referrals are required for Active Duty Service Members (ADSM).

Autism care providers

Applies to all plans, certain restrictions apply.

Military hospital or clinic

Military hospitals and clinics operate on military bases and posts. They are ran by the Department of Defense (DoD) and do not charge a fee for most services.

Primary Care Manager (PCM)

A PCM is assigned to a beneficiary when enrolled in a Prime plan. You may search for a new one if moving or looking to request a new one.

Non-network providers

Applies to all plans, Prime plans require referral.

Community Resource Directory (CRD)

Connect with resources

The CRD is a multi-state search tool that provides access to comprehensive information on national, state and local community-based facilities. The directory houses details on each listing, allowing you and your providers to connect with local resources, including autism services.
