This seminar titled “The Power of Evidence in Development Policy and Cooperation” was delivered by Mr. Eiji, Kozuka, Director, Basic Education Group, Human Development Department, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). He explained the importance of supporting evidence-based policy making, the development of rigorous impact evaluation such as Randomized Control Trial (RCT), the strength and the weakness of RCT, and the research findings from the impact evaluation of JICA-supported “School for All” projects in West Africa.
