Happy Thanksgiving week! I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that Thanksgiving is this week. Do I feel prepped and ready? Absolutely not, but I’m excited! It has been the craziest week of travel with the book launch, but also the most exciting week!
I kicked off the first week of the book tour in New York with a Satellite Media Tour, a live segment on GMA, a segment on Live with Kelly and Mark, two book signings, multiple interviews, a few meetings, a celebratory dinner at The Mark, and then a flight to Washington DC for a conversation at Sixth & I with Erin Coma, then drinks to follow. I was up early the next morning for a flight to Atlanta, a signing at Crate & Barrel, and then a very late flight home to Colorado for a few days at home to celebrate the holiday with my family.
It was the craziest week, but honestly, I want to do it all again. I had so much fun meeting you all and finally getting to share Quick & Cozy with the world. It’s surreal, and I’ve been having pinch-me moments every single day this past week!
The response to the new book has been the most amazing! I love seeing so many of you cooking from it and even planning your holiday meals! Itâs just the best feeling!!
Happy to be home to enjoy Thanksgiving with the family we have here in Colorado this week! Weâre split between Colorado and California but we will all be together for Christmas!
What are your plans for the holidays? Hoping whatever they are, that youâre looking forward to them! I think the holidays can be a lot of added stress for some but I hope that youâre able to embrace the magic that holidays can offer!
Ok, I think thatâs all I have for today! Keep an eye out for some last-minute holiday dishes this week! And have the happiest Thanksgiving!!

I’ve gathered a few favorites I’ve shared over the years! Please leave any holiday questions for me in the comments. I’m excited to help you with holiday entertaining this seasonâit’s my favorite time of year!
Cooking Tip:Â If youâre still planning your menu, make things easy and have every guest or family member pick a side to bring so everyone has a dish they love and are excited about on the table. Donât feel like you have to stick to certain dishes just to keep with tradition. Only make the dishes you and your guests really love!
Entertaining Tip: Use Kraft Paper Placemats for easy cleanup, guests can write what theyâre thankful for on them. Alternatively, have place cards made for each guest. Ask them a question like, what are you most looking forward to this holiday season? Have fun with the questions, they can be great conversation starters.
Or try this for a smaller crowd. Really such a sweet idea!
Cooking Tip:Â Donât be afraid of using store-bought items to make your life easier (puff pastry, pie crusts, etc). Puff pastry and pre-made pie dough are my go-to this time of year. And Iâve heard Trader Joeâs has amazing appetizer options for you all too!
Cooking Tip: Make a breakfast casserole, or cinnamon rolls the day before so you can enjoy an easy and low-maintenance breakfast to start the day.
Hosting Tip: Ask everyone to bring their own containers for taking home leftovers or buy an affordable set of to-go containers for people to take home.
Cooking Tip: Instead of making individual cocktails, make a big batch or a punch for guests to enjoy. This will save time and money! Try my favorite Thanksgiving punch or Thanksgiving Cranberry Cobbler Punch! Or and of these Thanksgiving cocktails.
Entertaining Tip: Set aside a table for the kids with coloring books, games, and kid-friendly appetizers while they wait for dinner. I love this vintage Candy Land, and the Christmas puzzle is fun, too.
Cooking Tip:Â Use crockpots, Instapots, Airfryers, toaster ovens, and all your kitchen appliances to maximize oven space and be efficient with your time!
Hosting Tip: Set the table the night before or even a few days before. Itâs one less thing to worry about on the day of. That way, you can focus on the food and enjoy the day.
Hosting Tip: Start Thanksgiving Day with a clean slate. Head out for a morning walk, empty your dishwasher and kitchen trash can, and go the extra mile by lining your bins with extra garbage bags. That way, you wonât have to hunt down a fresh bag when the garbage piles up.

Hi Tieghan, happy Thanksgiving! I look forward to these posts every week, thank you for another great one. Quick question, how do you wash your cashmere? I just bought my first cashmere sweater and have no idea how to care for it! I trust you with all things fashion so figured I should ask your advice haha. Enjoy your day xoxo
