Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our vision is for an open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy Internet for everyone.

Working with local chapters, policymakers, and technical experts worldwide, we help build, promote, and defend the Internet. There is an Internet Society member on almost every continent.

The Internet Society is made up of:
90,000+ individual members
87 organization members
129 chapters and special interest groups

With our global community and local champions, we work on the ground to reduce barriers to access, make the Internet faster and cheaper, and advocate for the right policies so it can grow.

We equip people to protect the Internet's foundation and advocate for the tools that keep it secure and trusted.

We have trained a global network of Internet champions shaping the Internet of the future. We offer free courses
and leadership, policy, and technical programs to empower people with the right skills and knowledge.

Weve formed strategic partnerships with other international organizations made up of governments, private companies, academic institutions, and technical communities to grow and strengthen the Internet for future generations.

We celebrate innovation and fresh thinking by awarding efforts that support the Internet and the
positive difference it can make.
