Cinco de Mayo at Empellón Taqueria; Parlor Coffee’s New Navy Yard Roastery

Empellón Taqueria is celebrating Cinco de Mayo on Sunday, May 4, and Monday, May 5. On Sunday, the restaurant will serve a two-course brunch menu in three seatings (noon, 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.); reservations can be made by filling out a form here. And on Monday, in addition to their normal à la carte menu, the taqueria will also offer a three-course menu at $55 per person. • Ravi Derossi’s 30-seat Bergen Hill is now open on Mondays starting April 14. Bergen Hill will be opening for dinner from 6 to 11 p.m., and opening an outdoor café with 20 seats. [Grub Street]

General Assembly will launch lunch on Monday, April 14. In addition to the new à la carte menu items, the restaurant will also offer an “Assembly Lunch.” For $32, you can choose from crudités and dip or salad, any entree, and ice cream or an eclair to go. [Grub Street]

• To celebrate Easter, Lure Fishbar is offering an egg-decorating class with pastry chef Katie McAllister on Saturday, April 19 and a festive brunch and housemade Easter baskets on Sunday, April 20. [Grub Street]

• Starting this week, Harold Dieterle’s West Village restaurant the Marrow will be launching happy hour. Two sausage specials, inspired by Harold’s German and Italian heritage, will be available from 5:30 to 7 p.m. every Monday through Friday, plus $5 beer and wine pairings. [Grub Street]
