GRAND FORKS — UND used even-strength goals from Owen McLaughlin, Carter Wilkie and Jake Schmaltz to grab a 3-3 tie with Bemidji State in the series finale.

Bemidji State 1, UND 0 — Adam Flammang 1 9:04. UND forward Dylan James loses control of the puck in the neutral zone, Flammang picks it up and walks it to the circle, where he rifles one past Hobie Hedquist's blocker. It's a bad sign for a UND team that's 1-6 this season when allowing the first goal.

Bemidji State 1, UND 1 — Owen McLaughlin 1 18:26. Bemidji State forward Eric Martin circles the zone and looks to hit Isa Parehk at the point, but McLaughlin picks off the pass, goes the other way and flips a puck over Bemidji State goaltender Mattias Sholl's blocker. The goal breaks a drought of 136:36 without an even-strength goal.

UND 2, Bemidji State 1 — Carter Wilkie 2 (Jake Livanavage, Jayden Perron) 19:45. Livanavage fires a point shot toward the net. Wilkie is camping out at the top of the crease and tips it. He finds the rebound and fires it home to snap a 12-game goal drought.

Bemidji State 2, UND 2 — Reilly Funk 2:14. Funk comes up the left side on a rush and snaps a shot blocker side. Hedquist gets his blocker on it but accidentally sends it into the net.

Bemidji State 3, UND 2 — Noah Quinn 2 (Rhys Chiddenton, Jaksen Panzer) 3:03. Bemidji State scores a second goal in the span of 49 seconds as Quinn bats a floating puck out of midair from the top of the crease. Hedquist is pulled after allowing three goals on eight shots.

Bemidji State 3, UND 3 — Jake Schmaltz 2 (Jackson Kunz, Caleb MacDonald) 4:02. MacDonald throws a puck to the net, where Kunz makes a nifty play to gain possession and try to jam it in. It starts a scramble and Schmaltz comes flying into the crease to poke it in. The goal snaps a 10-goal goal drought.

UND continues its goaltender rotation with sophomore Hobie Hedquist coming in for the series finale. He had a shutout last Saturday.
