This is a collection of .editorconfig
file templates. EditorConfig is a file format for defining coding styles and a collection of text editor plugins that enable editors to read the file format and adhere to defined styles. For more information on how EditorConfig works, please refer to editorconfig.org.
To use this repo, find the best match for your project and copy its contents to a .editorconfig
file on the root of your project.
You can use this command to download a template from the master
branch to your project. Just replace Elixir.editorconfig
to your prefered template. For example:
cd /path/to/your/code && curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/vinibrsl/editorconfig-templates/master/Elixir.editorconfig > .editorconfig
If you'd like to add a new .editorconfig
template, make sure it doesn't exist yet. You can also edit an existing template, but make sure to explain why you're making a change on the PR description.
Here’s how we suggest you go about proposing a change to this project:
- Fork this project to your account.
- Create a branch for the change you intend to make.
- Make your changes to your fork.
- Send a pull request from your fork’s branch to our master branch.
- And thank you!
