I have a slidev theme (private) containing several images that should be usable in different slide decks. I tried to figure out where these images have to be placed in the theme and how to reference them. Unfortunately I did not find anything useful besides of AI claiming:

• put images into the public folder of your theme
• use the theme in your slides
• and refer to the images via an absolute url (as if the public folder was the root)

I tried it - even with publicly available themes - and it did not work. So this might be an imagination of the AI. Yet I tried to do the same within the theme and indeed: contents of the public folder can be referred to with an absolute URL of the above form.

So my question is: Are references to images within themes possible? And is the AI right or is there another way of doing it?
