We at the Sint-Janslyceum school with 2100 students use SEB in for jobs that are made n TextAid.
We recently updated frm version 3,5 to 3,8 (latest) and noticed that the speak outloud of selected text in a document within the

Steps to Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'https://ws-exam.readspeaker.com/a/wasp/login'
  2. Click on 'Login'
  3. Goto doument library.'
  4. Select a pdf
  5. Within the viewer select a part of the text and try to speak it.
  6. The prepare window does not disapear and no speaking is comming out of the speaker.

Expected Behavior
The prepare window is briefly shown and the selected text would be heard through the speakers.

Version Information

  • Windows 11 25H2 26.100.2033
  • Alle versions above 3.6.0.633
  • Version 3.6.0.633 and below do not have this problem, i have tested this wil all available version.

Additional Context
For now we have downgraded all devices to version 3.6.0.633 that works just fine.
I am the Head of the IT department on school with a technical background.
For the TextAid you need an account. Train accounts can be given by them.

This issue seems to be the same as #889. If so, please consider the limitations mentioned and continue the discussion there.
