The default state of eth0 is down, When issuing the command ifup eth0 the interface reports 'okay' but does not init. I am unable to ping out from the device.

Netman manages the eth0 interface and turns it off automatically through link detection.

What network config does netman show?

Hmm, so the ping works with dhcp when the connected to my router via T1 converter, but not able to ping the NavQ plus with a static IP.

Basically with dhcp it's able to connect and the link goes up, without dhcp and manually creating a net.cfg with static IP settings the link stays down even with 'ifup eth0'

This is the net.cfg settings I am using to try to setup a static IP:
netman_static

EDIT: I am using 10.0.0.x on the navq, but tried the user guide settings just be sure. I also used netplan on the navq plus and that link is showing up, but not able to ping canhubk3

Hi, can you show me the "defconfig" file?
