Describe the bug

For time series with 700k data points, on maximum zoom in I am not able to see some of the points. The data points not drawing correctly. Moreover the scroll bar to zoom in and out not aligning with graph timing. For example, the slider is on March 28th but the graph x x-axis range is at a different location on March 3oth.

To Reproduce

Upload large time series data and zoom in to the maximum. you will find an empty plot

Expected behavior

All data points should be drawn at maximum zoom

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows

Additional context

I usually need more customizable features like zoom-in and zoom-out data points like the Grifana.

Hello,

We are aware that rendering large time series datasets can sometimes cause issues in Label Studio, especially when zoomed in extensively. One potential workaround is to ensure that your time series data is sorted in ascending order by the time column before importing it into Label Studio. Sorting the data can help resolve some rendering issues, as Label Studio relies on the order of the time column for proper visualization.

Additionally, please check for any duplicate or missing time values in your dataset, as irregularities can affect how the data is displayed when zooming in. These are just workaround.

I'll create a bug ticket for it as well and follow up when get update from eng team.

Thank you,
Abu
