Problem description

Holes with modelled threads come with a significant performance penalty. FreeCAD can only be used with thread modelling turned off since even simple parts with only a dozen modelled threads make FreeCAD unacceptably slow. Sometimes thread modelling needs to be turned on for various reasons. As of now FreeCAD has no built-in way to turn on/off thread modelling globally. One has to click on each hole, en/disable thread modelling and wait for it to finish and then move on to the next thread.

This feature request asks for a built-in option to simply turn on/off thread modelling globally for all threads.
