Problem description

When selecting (also preselecting) any item (except feature) in the tree, I'd like it to be highlighted in the 3D view - even if it is not visible.

Features highlighting is more complicated and can be tackled separately. Of course, ideally we would like to see e.g. chamfer face to be highlighted, but that is out of scope... Next best thing would be (if a single feature is clicked), temporarily make that feature visible and highlight. If two features are selected, maybe the last one could be highlighted ...or none of them.
