It would be nice if formulas (A1, R1C1) included the external link target instead of the id.

e.g.

instead of :
FormulaA1 = "[3]!UDF(variable1, variable2)"

would be :
FormulaA1 = "c:\PathtoFile\File.xla!UDF(variable1, variable2)"
