Fun at Stowe Park this Fall
Fall is quickly approaching, and the Downtown Belmont Development Association is hosting several free and family-friendly events at Stowe Park 24 S. Main St. in Belmont.
Here is a list of movies in the park and other festive events.
September
Movies in the park will include:
- The Sound of Music starting at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 14.
- A Double Feature of The Land Before Time and The Iron Giant, starting at 7:15 p.m. Sept. 21.
Also in September, a free performance by the Charlotte Symphony starts at 7 p.m.
October
Movies in the Park will include:
- Hocus Pocus starting at 7 p.m. Oct. 12.
- The Addams Family starting at 7 p.m. Oct. 26.
Also in October, The Belmont Police Department will host the second part of its third annual Faith and Blue weekend at Stowe Park.
The event begins with a fall festival 4-7 p.m. Oct. 12 at Park Street United Methodist Church 120 Park St. in Belmont.
The fall festival will include a pumpkin patch, face painting, emergency vehicle displays and more.
From 4:30-8 p.m. Oct. 13 at Stowe Park, the department will have a unity march, vendors, and a Christian music concert.
