Large gap between wall and floor tiles

last month
last modified: last month

Hello, my contractor's tile guy did the wall today and I noticed a large (2cm) gap between the floor and wall tile. The reason for the gap is that the floor is sloped to accommodate a linear drain, hidden under that OSB. I wouldn't have sloped it like that myself but I've never done tile. Anyway, the problem is the gap. These are 24x48 tiles, they cut the top piece by 3cm and set the bottom ones intact. If I had realized earlier then I would have had them cut the bottom ones to match the slope and then the top pieces to the ceiling. Does that sound right? Now they will probably want to add a sliver there which I think will look terrible. What can be done? Thanks!
