Hi, instead of using strings of lights this year I am thinking I will use 1 or 2 floodlights in my front yard. Any tips? Any best practices for using flood lights? I'm not considering the hardwired/permanent kind.

Installing a lot of cords and attaching string of lights to trees etc has just become to much of a chore. I'd like to explore very simple things I can manage that still look festive and cheerful.
