I like gas better. Note that with induction, you may have to buy new cookware, or at least some new cookware. Induction cooks via a magnetic field, so your cookware needs to be magnetic. Just take a kitchen fridge magnet to your cookware to see if it is magnetic. If it is not, it won't work with induction.

Setting that aside, I just like how gas power feels when cooking. I don't like that with induction, as soon as you lift the pan off the induction burner there is no heat, so you can't toss and saute unless the pan is actually touching the cooktop.

I know many people love their induction cooktops and won't go back to gas. But there are many who feel the opposite, so there is no right or wrong answer.
