Enhancing Security and Visibility to Protect Over 15,000 Students

Frustrated with “buggy” security solutions that had ramped up its administrative overhead, Del Mar College’s IT team consolidated on the Fortinet Security Fabric. Using FortiEDR endpoint detection and response and the FortiMail email protection solution, the college has been able to better protect student data while reducing false positives and calls to the IT help desk. This frees significant amounts of time for its IT team. The college is now exploring other Security Fabric solutions in areas including security operations and network access control. Fortinet has helped Del Mar College meet its obligations as stewards of student data and pass rigorous third-party security audits.
