Help restore early learning programs affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, supporting Florida’s families, educators, and economy. Your donation today directly contributes to reopening child care programs and ensuring children receive the early education they need to thrive.
Florida’s Economy and Families Need Your Help
Florida’s recovery depends on getting early learning programs back up and running. Without child care, parents can’t return to work, and our communities can’t rebuild. Your donation will help reopen centers and family child care homes, allowing more than 150,000 children in affected regions to return to high-quality early learning environments, and helping parents get back to work.
🌀 Two Hurricanes, Countless Lives Disrupted
Hurricanes Helene and Milton devastated over 44 counties, impacting hundreds of early learning programs. From minor repairs to rebuilding entire facilities, these programs need urgent help to reopen and support their communities.
With more than 1,000 licensed early learning programs affected, we must act quickly to prevent long-term disruptions in child care that could cripple Florida’s workforce recovery.
Investing in Early Learning is Investing in Florida’s Economy
Florida was on the verge of a breakthrough in expanding early learning opportunities. Hurricanes Helene and Milton threaten to undo this progress, especially for vulnerable families. Ensuring children have access to quality care and education from an early age is vital for both immediate recovery and long-term workforce development.
