Full Service Custom WordPress Website

This is where we get to know your business and its goals. Typically, the discovery process consists of a client questionnaire form, phone calls, and emails. If you have any resources already prepared (logo, wireframes, promotional material, etc) you would provide them at this point.

After we’ve developed a solid understanding of your business, we’ll translate that into guidelines for the website layout and functionality. Using those guidelines, a mockup of the website will be created in Photoshop. A mockup is just a picture, so making changes is much easier than changing a live website. We can go back and forth through several rounds of change requests, modifying the mockup as needed to get it looking great.

In layman’s terms, we’ll take the picture of your site (the mockup) and make it work. This consists of coding the mockup into a custom WordPress theme. You will be able to load the site in your browser (at a private website address) and any dynamic functionality that was static on the mockup will now be interactive.

By the end of the Development phase, the website will be fully functional, but most of the real content will not exist yet (there may be placeholder text and pictures). At this point some clients wish to jump in and add all their pages, posts, etc themselves. Others will prefer for us to handle this part for them. The time it takes to complete this will vary from client-to-client as everyone’s content is different in volume and complexity. This portion of the project is billed hourly, separate from any other fees. Note: We do not create content for you, we only load it into the site. You must create the actual content yourself (write the text, acquire any pictures, etc) or enlist a content creation service to assist you.

We’ll run your site through a 100+ point checklist to make sure everything works as it should. We’ll verify things like cross browser compatibility, mobile display, form functionality, and more. We take pride in our work and want to make a good impression on your visitors!

This is the moment of truth, when all our hard work is launched for the world to see. The site can be moved from our development server to the hosting company of your choice, or we can host the site for you. Full payment of any services rendered is required prior to launch.
