Ember is currently the Humane Society of Stillwater’s longest term resident. This beautiful Boxer mix has been in their care for 237 days and she is beyond ready to have a family to call her own.
Ember has come from a very rough past where we think people haven’t been very kind to her. She was ultimately found lying in a ditch with nowhere to go.
Ember did not like any dogs when we first brought her into our shelter.
She has spent her days hanging out in the office with us which has desensitized her.
She is tolerable of certain dogs that are mellow and don’t pay her any attention.
We think she could potentially live with another dog if it was the right fit.
Ideally, she could be a spoiled only pup and have the princess treatment for the rest of her life!
Ember’s favorite thing in the world is squeaky toys! Anything that squeaks and can be shredded is right up her alley!
For this reason, we would not trust her living in a house with any cats.
Ember is about 9 1/2 years old and simply looking for a loving forever family to call her own.
She is more than happy to lounge around and hang out while watching movies.
We know she’ll make someone a great companion.
She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee has been sponsored and she is free to an APPROVED home!!
