Fire breaks out near Komotini

A fire broke out Thursday in agroforest land near the northern city of Komotini, prompting a 112 emergency alert. 

There are 42 firefighters with a ground team and 14 vehicles deployed on the mission, accompanied by three aircraft and a helicopter. 

Authorities alerted residents in the nearby village of Karydia to remain vigilant.
