I use this each day and this one I just purchased does not seem as strong as the original I purchase at my local retail store. Actually, this Armani Code is now my favorite everyday cologne. It's perfect, not too strong or pungent; intriguing. Unique but not unfamiliar. It also lasts all day, and doesn't leave behind that synthetic, chemical smell like so many others when they fade after a few hours. I had sampled it once at the store and passed, but I didn't give it a chance. The initial nose is somewhat ordinary, but the drydown is the true essence. I can't say precisely what it smells like, my sense of smell isn't that well trained, but also it isn't quite like anything else. It just smells good, and it's the kind of smell that you want to smell again after the first whiff. Just give it 15 or 20 minutes to shift. Definitely well worth the price I paid!
