Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway has announced some exciting new career news.
Taking to Instagram this week, the presenter shared a video clip from the moment her agent handed her a new contract with Smooth Radio, securing her 10am to 1pm slot with the broadcaster for another two years.
"I am so happy to say I can keep chatting to you and playing the best music every morning between 10 and 1 as I have a BRAND NEW CONTRACT with @smooth radio – see you there tomorrow at 10!!!" she captioned the post.

The video shows Kate, who has hosted the show since 2014, signing the contract, before telling viewers: "You're stuck with me now for another two years. Thank you for listening!"
Earlier this year, Kate's husband Derek Draper sadly passed away after a long battle with severe health complications caused by COVID-19.
The TV star marked their 20th wedding anniversary in September, posting a video in which she reminisced over old memories and asked viewers to vote for Kate Garraway: Derek's Story in the Authored Documentary category at the National Television Awards.

"So it's our wedding anniversary today & feeling super emotional but also so grateful to all that Derek brought into my life," she wrote in the caption.
"Leaning into the #grief, by re reading his old cards to me & also watching the doc #dereksstory – reminding myself of how he fought to the end to get back more of his life & for change for others."
Following Derek's death, Kate opened up about the debts she now faces for her husband's round-the-clock care, estimating the cost to be up to £800,000 as he did not qualify for funded care.
