Richard Keys slams Nigel Farage over 'expensive' lunch but makes one little error

Disgraced former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys has gone all political, snapping an image of a controversial MP eating lunch at a posh restaurant.

Just a few days after a strange X gaffe where he appeared to have a pop at an ex wrestler, Keys was at it again - using his long lens (maybe) to get the low down on Clacton's Nigel Farage.

Keys, now working for beIN Sports in Qatar, shared a picture of Farage and an acquaintance dining outside Scott's in Mayfair, London, presumably today.

With a glaring spelling error, the broadcast journalist shared on X at lunchtime: "Nigel Farsge lunching at Scott’s Mayfair in the most expensive street in the U.K. today.

"To be fair I’m certain he was working on constituency business - although it didn’t sound like it."

Scott's is a swanky restaurant in the upmarket postcode that boasts favourites like pan-fried ray wing, fillet of halibut and plateau de fruits de mer for two.

It also has a wide array of lunctime booze options, but it appears Farage stuck to San Pellegrino sparkling water.

The a la carte lunctime menu costs a pretty penny, perhaps not becoming of the man of the people.

Just 125g of Beluga caviar costs a whopping £995.00, while a whole lobster costs a more reasonable £70.

"What is the charge? Eating a meal," one follower joked, referencing the famous meme involving Jack Karlson, who passed away recently.

Generally, people were keen to rehash Keys' misgivings in the replies. Others, perhaps strangely, sided with Farage.

One said: "What a weird, obsessive thing to take a photo of someone just having lunch. I’m not sure this post went the way you hoped - maybe delete?"

Another said: "So? He can afford it, he's contributing to the economy. I'm assuming since you could hear his conversation and close enough to take a pic, you were also eating there so what's the issue?"

It comes after Keys took to X to bizarrely quote tweet a tribute video to the American wrestling icon, Hulk Hogan. And he seemingly asked the Hulkster: "What don’t you understand? He was correctly booked. It’s simple. He let himself and his team-mates down."

He appears to have got his wires crossed, and probably tried to quote a message about football.
