Auston Trusty is living the dream on the pitch at Celtic.

And off it, he's set for his biggest one to become a reality after revealing on Instagram he is set to become a dad early next year. Brendan Rodgers brought the USA international defender north of the border for £6million during the summer window and he's firmly settled into life in Glasgow as a key man in the heart of the defence alongside Cameron Carter-Vickers for the champions.


He's experienced Champions League football with his performance away to Atalanta in Bergamo earning rave reviews. He is also just weeks out from the chance of a first piece of silverware with his new club when they face Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup Final at Hampden on December 15.


Things on the field couldn't be much better for the stopper with his side flying high at the top of the Premiership and impressing alongside's Europe's elite. It's been quite the year for the 26 year-old and his 2025 is only going to get better with a baby on the way.

In a shared Instagram video across his profile and partner Emily Berardino's, a clip shows the beaming proudly showing off her baby bump and scan pictures. The smiles could not be wiped off the faces of the loved up duo who gave the big reveal its very own Celtic twist by displaying a small green and white hoops shirt with 'Baby Trusty 2025' on the back.

Alongside the heart warming video with the big news, Emily wrote: "Our biggest dream and greatest blessing, coming in March."

Followers flooded the comments with messages with one writing: "Oh my goodness congratulations!! What a special, beautiful time for you two." Another posted: "This is so sweet!." A further person added: "Wow!! So happy for you guys."
