Inter-County Conference names fall sports all-stars; PVCA All-District 6 Team named

The Inter-County Conference announced its fall sports all-stars for volleyball, soccer, golf and cross country.

Football all-stars will be released the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving.

Here is a look at the Somerset County athletes selected.

Volleyball

Berlin Brothersvalley's Lexi Fairman, Lexi Foor and Cayley Poorbaugh, North Star's Brooke Cannin and Suzy Walker, Windber's Liliana Grillo.

Champs againBerlin Brothersvalley takes care of Conemaugh Township for 2nd straight D5-1A championship

Honorable mention: Meyersdale's Sarah Hainsworth, North Star's Aidan Barnick, Windber's Maggie Manippo, Berlin Brothersvalley's Elena Ritchey.

Boys soccer

North Star's Parker Scherer and Stasi Musselman, Windber's Jake Hill, Aiden Constantino, Derek Prince and Damian Miller, Rockwood's Matt Lambert and Davis Bruening.

Honorable mention: North Star's Bryce Frombach, Windber's Philimon Pilehvar, Rockwood's Austin Reel and Max Trimpey, Berlin Brothersvalley's Matthew Miller.

Girls soccer

Berlin Brothersvalley's Madelyn Richardson and Keira Gair, North Star's Baylee Sleek, Rockwood's Avri Wareham and Delaney Gould, Windber's Jayda Mintmier and Heather Carney.

Honorable mention: North Star's Kylee Lepley, Rockwood's Taylor Demchak and Kaitlyn Lishia.

Golf

North Star's Eli Hostetler and Cullen Orlandi, Rockwood's Nathan Show.

Boys cross country

Windber's Andrew Minahan, North Star's Luke Hall.

Girls cross country

Meyersdale's Aurora Comfort, Windber's Pacey Oyler.

PVCA All-District Team announced

Somerset seniors Emily Rush and Abby Ledney, along with junior Eve Housley were selected to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association All-District 6 Team in Class 3A.
